You probably woke up in partial sleep paralysis, meaning your body thought you were still sleeping so it was mostly asleep. When you woke up you should have lied perfectly still, and you could have done the WILD method incredibly easily. King Yoshi has a tutorial on that which is very helpful, I will post it later if I can find it.

Ok thanks btw is this WILD easy enough for a beginner like me that has never had a lucid dream yet?

Well, it is more about determination than experience, at least in the beginning. If you are able to force yourself to wake up half way through the night, then force yourself to lie there until Sleep Paralysis hits, then you could have a WILD LD your first or second try.

Any voices feelings or anything during this process is probably in your head, I suggest you enjoy their presence as they probably WILL be there. All the WILD technique requires is determination and knowledge of it, so read up on it, then go all "There is no way I will make it through the night without having a WILD dream". Good luck.
