New member - Question about supplements.

Hiya. This is my first post. I'm new to lucid dreaming (I always thought it wasn't real), so I'm just starting to learn it now.
I was reading up about it the other day just quickly, and read that there are certain drugs and herbs that can help you dream more/have lucid dreams. I read that vitamin B6 and St John's Wort are amongst these.
I suffer from anxiety and depression and am currently undergoing cognitive behaviour therapy for it, so I thought vitamin B6 and SJW would be really convinient for me anyway because they are used to treat anxiety and depression.
Anyway, I just had a couple queries about the use of these supplements. First, does anybody use them, specifically B6 and/or SJW, and when should I take them in order for them to have an effect on my dreams? Any help would be greatly appreciated
      Thanks very much in advance

b6 helps very much for vividness and clarity, which helps u become lucid. havn't heard of the other.

You can use them to "kickstart" your start of getting Lucids, but try not to rely on supplements too much. I use B6 before bed once a week, 100 mg or so. I also drink applejuice now and then, it transforms (or something like that) into Choline inside of you. Both help with Vividness and Recall.

I've used b6 but not the other one you mentioned. I've always used 100mg before bed. You can get some crazy vivid dreams from it. Also, you might be interested in Melatonin. I use it sometimes. It helps you sleep and get a good nights sleep for one, but its purpose as a lucid aid is to give you a REM rebound in the morning, basically meaning your dreams will be more in the morning rather than spread through the night giving you more of a chance to remember your dreams since you wake up after just having the majority of them.
