Hi, I found this place via google because I was looking for ways to prevent highly vivid dreaming.

Since I was a child I have experienced dreams which are as real as life: full colour and sound, multiple 'real' dreams every night, full recall 80% of the time. Over the last few months, my dreams are so incredibly vivid I feel like I have been awake while sleeping. I am not rested or refreshed on waking, and even catnaps are full of dreaming.

Having found this place and had a nosy, I think maybe instead of stopping dreaming, I need to try and learn to control my dreams better?

Glad I stumbled across this place, it's reassuring to know other people dream large too!

Hi and welcome! And totally! Don't throw away such a wonderful "gift". Why not use the third of life we usually spend in darkness, to do something fun and amazing? If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!

I totally agree Tim. It seems as though the community is a real community with real people willing to share ideas with eachother. It's like everyone is a helpful neighbor!

It sounds like you have amazing dreams. You're going to make everyone jealous!

I can't wait to see what you will be able to do once you start becoming more active in your dreams.

My dreams are really vivid and detailed atm but I've only had 1 lucid since I started

maybe it's just learning control, I'm just so exhausted from being awake in my sleep *awww* lol

...y'know, it probably doesn't help that my 4-year-old son ALWAYS gets up before 5 am...makes it hard to do the 'laying there quietly for five minutes' thing, too!

I have a friend like you. Unfortunately, He's on the popular teenage bandwagon and would never open up to this site. Besides. I was a semi-gifted dreamer. Lost it, then got It back. Do you know how many people want to be you after reading that post?
