      My first lucid dream..

My first lucid dream occurred on the weekend, Saturday night I was really excited in the morning. I had my 2nd lucid dream shortly after, in the next 24 hours infact. I came home from work and had a nap after my shower - DILD but lost lucidity and woke up after a few seconds.

I've got fairly poor recall, one every two nights if i'm lucky and recently saw that fresh fruit juice is good for recall. Last night I had an orange before i slept and recalled two dreams this morning

I write down every dream i remember when I wake up and keep a dream journal. My question; what is the best way to keep your recall well?

Any questions about lucid dreaming? Drop me a PM here!

      Congrats on the lucidity!

Best thing is to keep up with your journaling, focus your intent to remember your dreams when you fall asleep, and to take the time to sit still and try to recall them the second you wake up. I find that the absolute WORST thing for my recall is a buzzing alarm in the morning. If it works for you I strongly recommend waking up to music, preferably something without words and soothing in a way, like classical music.

Also, if you are the kind of person who wakes up once or a few times during the night it is a good idea to keep a night journal in which you only scribble a few key notes down to spark recall in the morning.

      Great job on your lucids

As RebelSeven said a dream journal is best, another thing that works for me is clearing my mind before I go to sleep, just by listening to some music before I fall asleep.
