      Second Known Lucid Dream

I had my second lucid dream last night. Again, it happened after in the morning. I had set my alarm to 6:30, but I don't think I heard it. I can't remember anything about the dream other than that I became lucid, got exited, and woke up. Yea, Not really anything interesting, but why not post it, I guess. I should record my dreams but I get soooo lazy at night when I want to go back to sleep......

Hi Dav, I've not seen you before, so I'll start with "Welcome to DV "!

Congratulations on your lucid dream; even though it ended quite quickly, this is common for beginners to lucid dreaming. You should now aim to stay lucid without waking up from excitement, by stabilizing. For example, rub your hands together in the dream and focus on the feeling of touch and on the friction and heat in your hands. This stabilizes the dream and you can usually stay lucid for longer. Don't worry if you don't get it first time; practice makes perfect. The more you practice, the better you'll become at lucid dreaming, and the better you become at lucid dreaming, the more you'll want to practice.

      ShockWave.

I remember this happened to my first lucid dream as well.
You just have to stay very calm, just tell yourself "Okay, I am dreaming, this is totally normally, just be calm" and stabilize it.
There are many techniques and methods on stabilization, you can find guides on it.
Shockwave's method of rubbing hands together is a very common one, as is touching everything around you and just being aware of everything.
Try this next time, good luck.
      Keep dreaming.
