      Wink Hello there!

Hi, I'm a sixteen year old guy who has become obsessed with LD. I've had really low level LD's before, and I want to have stronger ones. I think part of the reason the dreams were hard to control or change was because I wasn't confident enough. In most of my dreams I can usually flap my arms and just fly away, but I never really seem to notice that it's a dream when I do this. I'm also good at remembering dreams. I can usually remember at least one scene from a dream per night. I joined the forums to get help with my LD's.

      Hey welcome to the forum.
It's cool that you've had some low level ones, we have to start somewhere right?
Just read through some induction techniques and the sticky threads if you haven't yet, they have all the info to get started. Just don't start rushing into trying WILDS (wake induced lucid dream) start slowly with DILDS (dream induced lucid dream) and progress.
Start writing your dreams in a dream journal, even if your recall is good already.
Just keep confident, patient, and determined. You'll have another LD in no time.

I always have some degree of dream control in my regular dreams, also.

I've read through a lot of the stickies. Now I just have to remember everything. Yesterday was the first day I wrote down a dream in a dream journal. I've thought about starting one before, but I always lose resolve. I'm going to have go through with it this time. WILDS sound scary. Thanks for the encouragement.

Actually, controlling your dreams might be why your dreams seems poor. It takes a lot of brainpower to control your dreams. Until you get really good at them, you should just explore and have fun

ninja9578, An additional reason my dreams could have been so bad was because I didn't know how to make it more clearer or more lucid, so I was stuck in a semi-lucid dream.

hprib012, Hi! I'll do my best to do as you say. Which shouldn't be too hard.

Robot_Butler, Do you read a lot of fantasy or science fiction? I do, and that might be why I can dream control in my normal dreams. Does trying to be a wizard in your dreams count as being lucid, or was it just a normal dream where I tried to be a wizard? In one dream some DC's were chasing me and I imagined vines coming out of the ground and immobilizing them. No vines appeared, but the DC's stopped moving as if they were tied down.
