Well, ADA helps with noticing you're dreaming but really it's all in the power of your own belief. You have to be willing to doubt reality even if you know otherwise. It will help you question dreams more easily. Even right now, as you're on your computer, laptop, or mobile device, you could be dreaming. Ignore the fact that you know you're not and ask how you got to where you are and if anything looks out of place. |

Have you been surprised by a reality check before? Are you normally correct when that voice in your head already knows you are awake? Maybe you could try to focus on how you know you are already awake. What does it feel like? What about your surroundings and your thought process makes you know you are awake? The very act of stopping for a second or two to question and analyze your state is all it takes to become lucid. Most of the time, it doesn't really matter if the reality check succeeds or fails. By the time you stop to perform the reality check, you probably already know whether or not you are dreaming. Of course, sometimes you can still be fooled and surprised |

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. It really means a lot. |

Meditation helps you become more relaxed and generally less stressed in your life, and this can sometimes help with self confidence. If you're interested in meditation, you should take my meditation class. It just finished, and you can still read the lessons from semester, but I'll be doing another semester at some point in July/August. |
