      Semi-lucid dream?

      For some reason, during the course of one of my dreams last night, I met a friend of mine at a house party. I told her that I was dreaming, because at first, she had a goatee. She looked at me funny (as she usually does). She was so in character, that I lost the will to become fully lucid. So basically, through the rest of my dream, I was just watching what was going on. Does this happen to anyone else?
      Goal I : Have a lucid dream. [X]
      Goal II : Talk to DC's in a lucid dream. []
      Goal III : Fight in a lucid dream. []
      Goal IV : Meet my dream guide. []

      Well, you can not be lucid and still say: "I'm dreaming." And you can be lucid and say nothing. Although if you were lucid and you had a boring time or didn't have anything particular in mind, or getting too engulfed in the dream scenario then you probably lost lucidity. A lucid dream can either end that way or waking up. I tend to wake up.

      Yep, that happens to me, 8 or my 9 lucids were like that, all though not 100% like that

      I've lost lucidity before, it's a common problem, just keep telling yourself that you are dreaming. Do it often enough that it can't happen again
