      Red face Hi there!

My name's nixie- nice to meet you!

So after some deliberation (and being afk for ages!), I've decided to get back on DV, and get back into lucid dreaming.
I began LDing about 4 years ago, but in the past year, (what with exams and other things on my mind) I've become quite out of practice. Curse ye, dry spell!

I'm really looking forward to sharing and listening to other's LD experiences (my family and some friends tend to think I'm nuts if I start rambling about lucid dreaming....lol)

Hope to see you folks around!

Thanks all! Dry spell broken-- had a lucid dream last night. Yay!
The clarity was a little dodgy/fuzzy though; anyone have any good recommendations for tutes about improving clarity?

Was the memory itself fuzzy or was the in dream scene fuzzy when you were in it? Those have different kinds of fixes each.

      Welcome to DV.

A bit of both- (my recall is pretty shoddy lately, but hopefully I can improve it over the next couple of weeks)...but I think the main issue was the clarity within the dream itself. Although it was lucid, in a way it was like I was watching a scene rather than physically in the environment. The other senses were kind of lacking.... any tips?

Well then look into threads about dream vividness here, and keep improving your recall. Not much to say really.

Hey nixie, I'm a little late to the party but welcome back!

Dream journaling is the first step to good recall; being able to remember your dreams once you wake up also means they'll be clearer when you're in them. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.
