Talking Hi to Everyone! New Member Here!

      Hi to all. I'm XVSkulblaka7.

      My username has a meaning...
      X meaning Excellence
      V meaning Victory
(So one of my mottoes in life is "Fighting for Excellence and Victory")
And Skulblaka coming from the novel Eragon (one of my favorite books) meaning Dragon.
Then the number 7 is my favorite number. hehe

I describe myself as "I am a SIMPLE person with an EXTRAORDINARY dream... To make my IMAGINATION a REALITY." Hence, my interest in lucid dreaming.

I learned about Dreamviews ever since I learned about lucid dreaming on April 25, 2011 after watching Inception! So technically I'm not a newbie in lucid dreaming and its already about 4 months that I know about Dreamviews but I decided to be a member today. I registered here because I want to be part of this community.

I have experience in lucid dreaming but it doesn't mean I've already mastered it. I have MUCH to learn. Hopefully I can learn more here and, with my available knowledge, even help my fellow members of Dreamviews.

Hey XVSkulblaka7! Thought I would welcome you even though I've only been here for a few days.

I've watched inception as well, and I think that's what actually got me here. Just intrest in the vividness of dreaming overall. Anyways, there is so much information and content here, even I'm overwhelmed. Anyways I guess I would start with the wiki first, since it has a whole bunch of useful information.

      Cheers!

Hi, and welcome to the Dreamviews forum! There's a lot of great people here and I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for. If you have any questions about lucid dreaming, or the forum in general, feel free to ask. c:

Thank you! Well, from April to June (my summer vacation), my frequency of lucid dreams are a matter of weeks. I'm using DILD and DEILD. I tried WBTB but didn't work for me. I got 7 lucids during summer. (Small but at least I have) Unfortunately, when I came back to school on June, My frequency dropped to MONTHS. On the past 2 months, I only have TWO lucids totaling of 9 lucid dreams.

Then I recently found out about KingYoshi's and Naiya's ADA or (All Day Awareness) where you have to be CONSTANTLY aware of your surroundings during waking life. You have to feel, hear, see, smell, and even taste (basically using ALL of you 5 senses) again, CONSTANTLY, in being aware to master ADA. Unfortunately I can't post links as of now (I need to be 7 days registered ) but it says that ADA is very IMPORTANT in DILDing. It's already a day since I've been practicing it, so hopefully this could help me have more lucid dreams.

ADA is not another name for awareness; it's a certain way of using awareness (please guys, stop declaring awareness itself as ADA). There's many other guides featuring awareness out there to look through. On a side note, yes, awareness is definitely important - it can improve both recall and the frequency of lucid dreams.

Oh okay, so it's kinda like HEIGHTENED awareness not just ordinary awareness, right? (Forgive me if I'm wrong)
I just realized that you have a DILD guide, COOL! I'm reading it RIGHT now.

Yep. Everyone's aware on a certain level during the day, but raising your awareness higher above that usual level can produce lucid dreams! Enjoy reading the guide; there's not much in it that you haven't already heard about, but yeah. =P
