Just thought id let you all know a little bit about me and how i came to this place. Im 23 from Western Australia and enjoy footy, music, travelling and drugs(in moderation). I only really started to try lucid dreaming in the last 3 months or so and keep a simple dream journal. The intrigue of lucid dreaming started for me when i was just lounging around watching something on my computer. But all of a sudden its like id been shot, i knew i was dreaming. I also instinctively knew something else was watching me and turn around to see a crow glaring at me through the window, i must admit it was a little freaky id never had a dream like this before. I then very cautiously open the window and the crow comes in and sits on my lap. There was a lot more but i cant remember it which annoys me. Ive read a bit of the newbie guides and hope this helps. Dream Journal entries to come. Ive read a few forum entries and this group seems very interesting already. Cheers. |

Did you know what a lucid dream was before you had your first one? Or did this one happen spontaneously and inspire you to go figure out what the heck it was? |

Hey Evo, welcome to Dreamviews. It's great you've already have had a lucid, and are keeping a dream journal! |

Thanks everyone i hope i can get better at this its pretty fun. I did have lucid dreams before Robo but this one was really different. In my other lucid dreams i would fly, swim and teleport myself but i dont think i have enough control and i mostly just get maniacally excited and end up waking up or something. |

I'v noticed that just reading about LD'ing and recalling dreams has helped me remember dreams. Before I can to this site I'd remember maybe one dream a month. Since I joined, I'v begun to remember one or two, and I'v only been here for 5 days. You're going to love the friendly staff and welcoming community. |
