Was this almost a Lucid Dream??

Hey everyone, so I have been attempting to lucid dream for 2 weeks no (no luck yet) but last night I had a weird dream. In my dream, I was in my bed dreaming about something. (If that makes sense) Then I woke up (inside of my dream) and wrote down that exact dream i was dreaming in my dream journal......Then I woke up for real.

It was very weird and I was wondering if this means I am getting closer to Lucid Dreaming....Thanks!

That's called a False Awakening, and they're not really related to Lucid Dreams. Only if you make RC'ing into a habit each time you wake up, you can catch them and use them to your advantage Keep the hopes up though! You'll get your first LD soon.

Like Matte said, I recommend you do a reality check everytime you wake up to prevent false awakenings. Good luck!

FA go away, come again some other dayyy ♫

Just make it a habit to RC every time you wake up, like Mancon said. It's always a great opportunity to become lucid. Better luck next time
