First time trying to wild, weird results. What does it mean?

Ok well 2 days ago I tried to wild for my first time. I did it at night. I layed in bed and tried not move at all. I layed on back, legs apart and hands by my sides. To clear my mind I started to count backwards from 100. Every couple of numbers I find my mind drifting, but I remember what I'm trying to do and I continued the count. At like 80 I started to see like blue dots and weird things, I felt body get numb around 50. Around 50 also I started to see my detail stuff, I saw a
Blowfish swim up to me, look at me and turn around and swim away. But it wasn't in full detail, like the blowfish was just a white light that outlined a blowfish. I wanted to move to see if I was in sp, but I didn't in fear of having to start over. Eventually random images pop to head and I got to 0, I just started over from 100. Sometimes everything will go black and sometimes the images would reappear. Eventually I notice I started to get hot, idk y but it was annoying, I kept ignoring for awhile I decided to see if I can move, and I could, easily to. I got disappointed but then I open my eyes and realize something extremely weird, my blanket was over my head. Before I tried I put blanket right under my chest, and I didn't move at all. When I gave up the blanket was over my head, and I'm guessing that's y I started to feel
Hot. Does anyone know why this would happen? I know I didn't move. And even if I did like I would definitely feel my arms moving the blanket above my head. So does anyone have any ideas? This was my first time trying to wild.

The images you saw a very common, called hypnagogic haulicinations (or imagery.) You're still learning so keep trying and don't be disappointed. Every attempt is a step in the right direction. As for the blanket situation, I'm pretty sure you're the one who moved it above your head, you just don't recall it because your mind had drifted so much. Best of luck! Happy lucid dreaming~

Might be so that you were having a False Awakening and that the blanket wasn't really over your head. Like Evolvenity said, they're called Hypnagogic Hallucinations. You shouldn't keep your hopes up when it comes to doing a WILD when going to bed. You won't end up in REM anyways. Do the same thing you did during a nap or during a WBTB. Good luck!
