Arch, Mancon, Somniloquist, Pandabear, Weakamon, Naiya and Erii,
I want to thank everyone for the generous warm welcome.
A little about me: I’m in my mid-forties and I have a wonderful family. I am happily married.
I grew up Catholic and when I became an adult, I quickly understood how much organized religion was not for me. I have been a happy agnostic individual for well over twenty years now.
I am extremely intrigued about paranormal activity that is present in our society and with that; I belong to a well known parapsychology group. We meet on a regular basis studying scientific reasoning to paranormal phenomenon.
My main interest of course is “dreaming” and “lucid dreaming”. I have for many years deeply felt that dreaming holds many answers to our existence, past present and future.
I have for a long time read about exercises to increase the possibility of having a lucid dream, but, have always fallen short. However, I had my very first lucid dream ten months ago.
I must admit, that I owe my ability to be able to have lucid dreams to my two German Shepherds. Prior to having my first lucid dream experience, my dogs became house dogs. My dogs woke me up every night at least two to three times to go outside or just to get some attention. With that being said, my dogs were making me wake up to a conscious level throughout the night, which was instrumental for me to have a lucid dream. Well, I know this is purely theoretical but, it does make sense to me.
Anyway, I look forward to conversing with everyone and again, thanks for the warm welcome.
Joe
