Hmm. Are you sure you're doing everything right? Looking around at everything closely. Becoming aware of all the colors, sounds, sights, etc around you? Then really questioning if it is a dream several times throughout the day? You haven't just made it into a habit you don't think about? |

I can somewhat relate to this because prior to this week I was not lucid dreaming much. I have had 2 LDs this week, which is far better than ever before. I figured out my own way to be "aware". I had been trying the ADA and SAT awareness techniques but I would too easily forget to do RC's and check if I was dreaming. I decided that every time I changed scenery (walked into a new room, a different place) I would do an RC and ponder my waking state. Primarily, I would ask myself how I got there and visualize everywhere I had been before. I then think something like,"In my warm bed, I wouldn't feel the air conditioning in this room." Then I do a few RC's and get back to my schedule. The awareness techniques work, for me it is just a matter of making it a priority to know if I am dreaming or not. Hope this can help. |

A lot of people wait a lot longer than 2 months before even getting 1 lucid dream, so if you really want to have one, I would keep trying. Remember that when you are being aware and questioning reality, actually put your focus into it don't just do it passively because if you do that, you'll end up doing it passively in your dreams as well and if you find something inconsistent in the dream and realize it, you still may not be aware enough to become lucid. I have never become lucid in a dream by just randomly doing a RC, I have always first noticed something wierd and then performed the RC to confirm, so make sure you are really being aware enough, soon enough the awareness will pass into your dreams like many of your other habits. |
