First of all, hi!

So I've been wanting to find a way to control my dreams, or remember them rather, I never ever remember dreams, and it can be as much as 6 months between each dream I remember.. And they're usually very faint memories.

I first found out about Lucid Dreaming two days ago by accident when a youtuber I'm subscribed to called Vsauce had an episode about dreams, and mentioned LD.

Enough about that, my questions are;
1. Do I have to sleep on my back/stomach? I usually sleep sideways in a fetal position with my hips in a 70 degree-ish angle and my knees in a more of 90 degree angle...(I'm not good at explaining..) Will all methods and techniques for lucid dreaming work if I sleep like this? Or do I have to lay on my back?

2. As I've said I have never really been able to recall dreams, and when I do, it's usually not enough for me to get any dream signs out of it. The dreams I remember the best are usually wet.. If you know what I mean, I guess that's a dream sign, since it's nothing that would ever happen to be in real life.
Forever alone QQ

3. Do I really dream 3 to 4 times every night? And yet I only remember 3 to 4 dreams a year?

I have been trying to LD each night since I found out about it, the first night I went asleep repeating to myself; "Tonight I am going to Lucid dream.." I don't remember a lot, but I remember seeing a colorful flash, with kind of transparent colors, and hearing a sort of low and deep creaking sound and then I fell asleep (I think). I don't remember the dream.
Tonight I tried it again, laying on my back with my bed sheets covering my body, and only my head sticking out and with my hands along side my body. Suddenly my body started to feel really heavy and my heart started beating really fast because I got excited. I think I was beginning to feel sleep paralysis, but my nose started itching and I really really had to scratch it, so nothing happened that night either, heh...

Wow, this is quite a read.. Kudos to anyone who bothers with it :3
Looking forward to your replies!
