      Question Finding Dream Signs

      Hey,

All of my dreams are pretty much unique, there are no consistencies that i can consider to be dream signs. Or at least none that I can remember. Is there a method to trying to find these patterns? I havent found any yet.

      Thanks,

I hadn't found many dream signs, but maybe there is a theme. Are your dreams more fantasy type, or grounded? Mine are more realistic (disregarding lucid dreams), and usually happen with people/places i am familiar with.

A useful tool for finding dream signs is to record your dreams in the DV Dream Journal system, and add tags on what sort of content is in the dream. When you have enough tags, you can then look through your entries and see which tags are the most common, like "home" or "school".

You don't necessarily need dream signs to attain lucidity, though. I've never used them and instead cultivated general awareness, questioning if I'm dreaming and looking around no matter what sort of "dream signs" may be around me. So if you don't seem to have any consistencies, don't worry about it!
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.
