      Hi there my friend,

First of all, glad you've joined DV. I'm sure you'll have a fun time here. Now for your dream recall, I recommend you to read the Official Dream recall tutorial to know more on how you can improve your dream recall since dream recall is one of the most essential element in Lucid Dreaming. I also recommend you get yourself a dream journal to aid you in improving your dream recall. It's a must-have item. Taking foods rich in B6 like peanuts and the like can improve you dream's vividness thus increasing the chances of you remembering the dream. Hope this helps

      Welcome to dreamviews!
Start using a dream journal, in time, you will notice you will remember more dreams. You can just scribble key words, you won't have to write down a huge paragraph.
In time you won't need to use one as much
      From my rotting body,
      flowers shall grow
      and I am in them
      and that is eternity.

If you want to remember a dream after you have woken up and forgoten most of it then you can sometimes recover some of it. If you are still in bed then try and get to the same position you were sleeping in and don't move. Think about the parts you do remember and go backwards from the last thing you remember. You might just remember bicycles so you start there and think of everything you might have been doing that had to do with bicycles and leading up to that point. Then you might remember you were biking with your best friend and you were coming home from the park. If you get that one fragment you can sometimes get the rest of the dream to fall back into place it just might take some work. Once you do remember it go back through the whole thing in you mind before wrighting it down. Sometimes I rememmber a whole dream and as sone as I sit up to wright it down I forget all of it. Over time your recal will get better and better and it will be easier to bring the memories back. Welome to DV btw.

For better recall, try laying in bed with your eyes closed after you wake up. Like you are going back to sleep, your brain should start turning your dream memory back on, and you should be able to remember part of your last dream.
