Hello! I have a question about staying inside a dream.

I remember my first lucid dream, that wasn't actually that long ago. Skipping to the paart where I became lucid, I remember being inside my room and thinking "Am I dreaming...?" I did a reality check, it failed... I was pushing my hand through my arm and it was distorting itself to let my hand pass. Nearly as soon as this happened my vision began to get really blurry and eventually I either woke up from the dream, or something else happened. (I don't remember if I woke up, but I was no longer lucid.)

Can anyone tell me how to remain in a dream once I'm lucid?

I've read other post saying you need to use your senses, but that is very hard to do when your in the dream for about to seconds, and your vision is blurred so much you can't see anything. Thanks!

If you haven't already, you should read the Dream Stabilization and Clarity Tutorial. Even if my vision is blurred or completely blinded I can keep myself in the dream by touching, listening, smelling, or tasting things in the dream world.

This usually happens to most people who are new at lucid dreaming so don't worry! Activating senses is the way to go, but don't try to think of it as preventing yourself from waking up. That thought will most likely do just that. Just casually activate them all and you'll be fine. The lucids tends to get longer and longer the more you have.

Touch things, I had a LD recently and it started to dim, I knew I was losing lucidity, there was a tree stump near me so I went to it and felt it, it was like real life, there was a nail hammered into it that was bent, I could feel the rust on it, the point is, I kept the dream going longer. I also find it cool to touch and feels things in dreams anyhow, it fascinates me... Good luck

Apart from stabalisation, you can try doing things in real life as well. What i would do is when I question reality in waking life, i stop and think about "If this is a dream, i would.." and then what i would proceedingly do.
