Question lucid dream or non lucid dream

      first post

Been trying to LD for a while(about a month),never had any LDs before.
      im using the WILD method.
i can remember 2-3 dreams every night.
last night i woke up after 5 hour of sleep after a dream, but i was feeling very sleepy and didnt want to LD at that time, so i closed my eyes and went back to sleep immediately.
after 3-5 seconds i realized that im in a dream, so i tried to stay calm and not get excited because it was my first LD.
then i started to think about what to do in the dream and after thinking for a while i wanted to fly, and tried to fly by jumping. but it didnt work, i fell just like in real life.
i dont remember too much details of the dream
so was that a LD or just a normal dream in which i acted like i was lucid in it ? im confused

I've asked the same question before and here's what I got as a reply from others.

Most lucid dreams (in my own experience) are not 100% lucid, sometimes you will become lucid for a little while, and then lose lucidity.
So as long as you realised you're dreaming, you're already lucid dreaming!

It's okay. It's a good start though. All the best on LD in the future!
