i have epic ADHD and i cant concentrate on being aware of my dreams.

all i can do i vague dream recall, i was only able to be fully aware i was dreaming for a very short time. maybe 3 minutes total and that was 3 years ago.

i just cant keep my mind on one thing, and it takes me almost an hour to fall asleep, by then i could have throught up hundreds of random things.

all i want is to be able to feel things in my dreams. i want to go to a beach and feel the sand between my toes, or fly and feel the sheer rush and wind in my face.. or sex up my favorite anime fantasy's, what ever comes first.

but my dreams are complete nonsense and more than half of the time, my eyes are closed IN my dreams, and i cant open them.. one time i tried opening my eyes so hard i wound up opening my real eyes and imedately woke up. (same thing happened when i was fully aware of my dream that one time, i looked in a mirror, my face was fucked, so remembering a "technique" to fix that, i closed my eyes tried to open them, but couldnt. tried so hard it woke me up")

what can i do to concentrate better?

(unrelated: i know this is an old account, but im hardly here, iv just been out of work for a while and i sleep more than anything now, so i want to atleast do interesting things while im sleeping, but i cant)

you don't have to open your eyes in the dream, its your imagination, remember?you can just imagine where have you been and you'll actully see.
as for your mind wondering ans such, you can try miditation,it really helps

It might take some work for you to gain more control, or sense of awareness. Like said above, try meditating. Just observe your thoughts, become aware you are drifting and stop it. Focus on breathing, your mind will wander, catch it, etc. Learn to just observe what is going on and not get caught up in everything going on in your mind

Yep, meditation is your best bet. Meditation is basically training yourself to focus on one thing for extended periods of time. Doesn't really matter what, a candle flame, your breathing, your chakras. Just try to keep your mind free of thoughts. Hard to do at first, but it gets easier with time.

just finished reading MILD turorial, and thats how i got my first LD, i wont get into detail, but i had to wake up early to walk the dog, then went back to bed, and i imedately went back into the dream i had before i woke up, and went to my room (my dream was in my house) only i kept saying to myself, if the sword on my wall is fucked up, im dreaming. and the sword i had was shattered into pieces, floating everywhere.

but none of this was intentional, i had no game plan during this. it just happened. iv never been able to achieve such vivid awareness since then.

You're going to have major control problems when you do get lucid again. The main part of dream control is learning to control and focus your attention.

Too bad you don't keep a dream journal here. I'd be interested in reading what ADD dreams are like. I would imagine there are a lot of major changes in the dreams, which would make them difficult to remember in more than fragments.

the site was setup different than what it is now when i started writing dream journals here, so i guess they werent classified under dream journals, but i did find all the things i posted a couple of years ago, if you're still interested.
