      What happened to me?

So i woke a 3:00am and couldn't fall asleep till like a half an hour later. I woke up in my dream and i can't remember why but i needed batteries for something so i get up to my dresser and there was batteries there then i walk back to my bed and i get super drowsy and start falling asleep once i get on my bed, right then i was waking up in real life and i got this very strong tingly feeling that felt amazing. Has something like this happened to anyone else?

If you were aware in your dream that you are dreaming, you had a lucid dream. If you just woke up while inside of a dream, you had a false awakening.

I'm not sure what the tingly feeling was (maybe vibrations)? There is a bunch of very intense sensations you can experience while falling asleep, and while in general they are same for everybody, (like hallucinations, vibrations, floating feeling...), they can also differ, even for the same person (the vibrations can be strong or weak, floaty feeling full or partial, one day you have hallucinations, another one you don't...).

You may want to check out the Wiki section - look for WILD, SP, and anything else. Even if you don't find exact answer there, you will learn about lucid dreams.

      Good luck and welcome!

The sensations gab mentioned can be very physical and intense. They can happen anytime you enter or leave sleep. The feelings of euphoria, energy, vibrations, ect, are so outside the boundaries of normal human sensation, they can be life changing religious experiences for some people.

It sounds like you had a false awakening that caused you to wake prematurely from your dream. You were probably feeling some remnants of the physical effects of REM sleep.
