If you were aware in your dream that you are dreaming, you had a lucid dream. If you just woke up while inside of a dream, you had a false awakening. |

The sensations gab mentioned can be very physical and intense. They can happen anytime you enter or leave sleep. The feelings of euphoria, energy, vibrations, ect, are so outside the boundaries of normal human sensation, they can be life changing religious experiences for some people. |
