What happens after a Lucid Dream

Is it possible to forget you had a lucid dream? I havn't had one in a long time .
Do you normally wake up after a LD or do you carry on sleeping which could cause you to forget.
I have been having normal non-lucid dreams where i often tell dream characters about lucid dreams and rubbing your hands but im not lucid its just a normal dream, then when i wake up in the morning i cant believe i never did a reality check because i was so close

      Welcome to DreamViews tod!

To answer your question, yes. In fact, I've had an LD that I didn't remember until much later in the day, when I saw something that triggered my memory. It can happen if your dream recall is bad just in general. But yes, when it happened to me, I had a really short LD earlier on in the night, then had a bunch of long non-lucids. I guess the non-lucids were more memorable than the short LD, so I just forgot about it until later. And I had been really lazy with my journal. I was like, "Damn, I wonder if I've forgotten others?"

Just keep journaling, and keep testing different RCs until you find one that works for you.
      Good Luck!

You might wake up, you might carry on sleeping. Both are possible.
      My opinion:
*Lucid Dreams, OBEs, Astral Projections are one and the same.
*There are no levels of lucidity. Quality changes if you apply some deepening.
*Lucid Dreams do not last more than 20 minutes.
      *Wolves are beautiful.
