I have been on this site for about a month now, but I never really introduced myself so I thought "Why not?". First off, my name is Dakota, but you can call me anything and everything if you want. I have first heard of lucid dreaming from American Dad (Lol), but really didn't take enough interest in it to do something. About two months ago, me and my friend were talking about our dreams. I had always been amazed by the things we could do in them. My friend brought up the subject of lucid dreaming, and that is what made me actually do some research on the subject. I had found out some techniques, such as MILD, and DILD, and tried the one that fit me the best, MILD. The first night, I actually got results but when I became lucid, I woke up. After about half a month of lurking around on the internet for sites about Lucid dreaming, I found Dream Views. I spent a day learning the basics of what you should do first before you actually try to lucid dream, such as getting a better recall. I am still working on my recall, but sometimes I will go a day without trying to remember a dream and try to lucid dream. It usually doesn't work, and I don't remember too much of my dream. This also helps me know my progress in my dream recall. So yeah, that is my introduction. not much to it, but whatever. Oh and I forgot to say one thing: I have came up with my own method of lucid dreaming (I don't know if anyone else does this) and it is a combination of DILD and MILD. |
