      Unsure of what to think,but very, very curious!!!!

      The idea of lucid dreaming is new to me. It came up in a conversation I had a week or so ago, which got me thinking about my past. Due to my naturally curious nature I started to research lucid dreaming everything that I have read makes sense and to me suggests that I have been lucid dreaming all my life. I read some tips on one website the first day that I was researching and that night, I believe I had a lucid dream because I was able to control it, and I knew I was dreaming. It was very short however I was able to hover across my kitchen floor I wouldn't say fly because I fell forward but, self about 4 inches off the ground and then hovered across the kitchen floor just before I woke up about 15 feet.

      Lucid dreaming is simply knowing you are dreaming while you are in the dream. Control comes after but you should know that it is separate from lucidity. You could have been lucid dreaming all your life. There are actually some people out there who can naturally lucid dream. If you are lucid, you can learn how to control the dream. Anyway, I recommend you keep looking around the site (check out the wiki) and learn more about it! It is an amazing thing to do and learn and can really help you.       Based on your account, im sure you've already become lucid. So just keep it up, practice your awareness, get yourself a dream journal and always be persistent. If you got questions, there are a lot of articles/threads here in DV that'll surely help you. Hope this helps and good luck.

      Some people have it naturally and have had since they were kids, I've talked to alot of people who goes: "Wait, can't everyone do that?" when they find out what a lucid dream is. Cherish that skill! Hone it to perfection
