      What's up !

Hey guys, glad to be a part of this site. Everyone, or at least most people I know, that are aware that I LD, think it's weird, or simply don't understand it. I have had more LD's than I can count, however most of them were short-lived, or not very fulfilling. I have joined DV so I can not only interact with a community that understands, but ENJOYS lucid dreaming.

I am looking to improve my LD skills and looking forward to improve keeping calm and prolonging my LD's.

I hope to learn a lot and meet some cool people along the way, peace!

Hey Povlovich! That happens to me too, they just think I'm weird when I talk about it, or pretend to care, it's annoying, because it's really cool! Now I just don't talk about it at school... Also it's cool to know you're already good at lucid dreaming! Everyone is real nice in these forums and someone will answer your questions ASAP.

Yup, we do enjoy our dreams here, lucids or not Most of my lucids are also super short, but they are getting longer, as my dream count rises. As I'm falling asleep, I say my mantra 'lucid dreams long and stable' and it seems to be working. I still need to work on my stabilization techniques once in a dream and I'm starting to get an idea, that interacting with dream helps to stabilize it and thus make it longer. There are some tutorials on dream stabilization and many posts about that too.

Are you using any technique to get lucid? Happy dreams

I usually realize that I'm in a dream before I even start dreaming, it's strange. Sometimes I let myself enter a state of sleep paralysis, then enter a lucid dream from there. I suppose this could be considered using the WILD technique.

In what way are your dreams short? Do you lose lucidity? Or wake up prematurely?

I usually seem to get too excited and the dream fades to black, causing me to wake up.
