Thanks! there's one thing i've been wondering for a long while now. I've heard countless stories about people accidentally achieving sleep paralysis. This would indicate they achieved sleep paralysis without WBTBing (or maybe sometimes with WBTB but that's besides the point). I've been told getting into sleep paralysis without WBTB shouldn't be possible, but still i hear so many people accidentally doing it, while i never seem to be able to when i'm trying? Any possible clarification how sleep paralysis without WBTB works? |

That's a good question. I mean, I have accidentally achieved sleep paralysis when I wasn't trying, but it was always WBTB. But a WBTB doesn't have to be setting your alarm for 5am on a school or work morning. Do it on your day off. And maybe even set it for as late as 6 or 7am if you don't want to get up as early as 5am. That's what I do and it works pretty good so far. Or even if you have time for a nap, that works too for alot of folks. |

You can get spontaneous sleep paralysis anytime you have REM. This can be early in the night, during a nap, or while sleeping in on a lazy Sunday. When you are actively seeking to induce it to have a lucid dream, go with the best odds and time it for the early morning hours. |

Oh well i'll try DILD/MILDing then. Thanks everyone for their help! |
