      Another noob!

Hello there! I was relieved to find a forum for lucid dreamers. I have been a sleepwalker my entire life and an avid dreamer. I'm not sure if my experiences are unique or not, but I started out having dreams in which I was very awake, but aware that it was a dream. For years I didn't know what to do, however, in the past 5 years I started experimenting in dreams and now I could use some pointers from experienced lucid dreamers. It would be nice to have others to relate to. Any advice would be appreciated.

      Hi Barrage! Welcome to Dreamviews

I see you have lots of experience with lucid dreaming. I guess you are a natural. Or do you use any technique? Looking forward to your posts Please feel free to browse the posts and DV Wiki. If there is anything specific we can help with, please ask. Happy dreams

      Hello Barrage, welcome to DV's.

Some tips for joining the forum:
check out the wiki; there are terms, techniques and tutorials. The 3 'T's' lol jk.
check out: IRC (chat); in channel (#LucidDreaming) anyone on usually does their best to answer questions.

in the past 5 years I started experimenting in dreams
      Any advice would be appreciated.
It's hard to give general advice besides keep at it, and keep your techniques consistent. Reality checks (RC) and learning to notice strange things that give away that it's a dream help. Anything more advanced than that, just give an example.

      Hey Barrage, welcome to Dreamviews.

It sounds like you might be what we call a natural lucid dreamer. Where you realize you are dreaming without trying to become lucid. So are you taking control of your lucids? If you aren't, that is what I would recommend. To work on trying to control your lucids. Just look around the wiki and the forums and you will find tons of tips! This site has a great community and hopefully you will become an active member. If you have any lucid dreaming related questions, you can always send me or another dream guide a question via PM.

Thank you for the welcome. I will search the site for basic information and pm some questions. I suppose lucid dreaming does come naturally to me, I just hadn't realized it until joining this forum. I thought perhaps I would be a novice of sorts...I do hope to seek some assistance, and maybe provide some. Thank you again for being so kind.
