      Another noob here

Heya! I came across this site because I heard from a friend that he heard something about this "dream controll", and I thought it'd be actually very cool if I can do that, so here I am. My reasons/motivations for doing this are actually useless, more for fun.

      My reasons:

      - Saving money on games and consoles lol. I hope I can play some good RPG's sometimes, with the graphics I want, music I want etc etc.
      - I'm learning japanese, which is very time consuming, so i hope I could continue learning grammar during my dream :3
      - Think of what I should post on my blog the next day [:
      - Listen to music with a THX certified system

and more useless reasons I could write a book of....

Oh yeah, and I hope I will master that I can recall my previous dream, or it would be like playing RPG's with out a memory card [: So I'm gonna start to practice today, and hope I'll ever achieve all of this sometime.

Welcome. Pure entertainment value is as good a reason as any. Give it a week or two and you'll be well on the path to lucid dreaming.

Hehe I was referring to the "microsoft" aspect of it. Just curious as I know someone who has fairly recently started to work for the company.

      New here!

Hi! I am so glad I found this place! I have been having lucid dreams for several years, but lately I have been having them regularly, twice a week. It's so amazing to me! I think for me the only down side to my LD's is I am so weak when I do awake...anyone else feel like that???

Hey, welcome to you too! That is so cool, you are such a natural!

You should not feel weak upon awakening. How many hours a night do you sleep and do you wake up often?

Lor5150, I'm not sure why you feel weak upon awakening.

I normally feel very happy/invigorated after waking up from a lucid dream.

Why do you think you feal weak?

Don't be discouraged The average for first LD, if I had to take a guess, is one to two weeks. Your first real focus should be on dream recall (and reality checks regularly). Once you remember your dream(s) each night your chances of getting lucid go way up.

I am a very light sleeper...I can only have my LD's using the wake-back-to-bed method. When I do go back to bed, I fall into such a deep, deep "trance" type sleep...and my LD's are SO vivid ...and unbelievably real...when I do awake (after several awake checks) I feel weak & drained.....I don't know...that's how it has always been for me with LD's. I mean don 't get me wrong, I love it!

I was thinking a similar idea today. Going and buying some games from a shop and then playing them to see what they would be like graphics gameplay etc.

The only problem is i have so many other ideas for what i want to do in lucid dreams.

No, not complete failure. You got up in a great mood
Don't get discouraged, you won't instantly start having LDs. It takes time.
