      Bienvenido!

If you're here looking for a meaning to your dreams you should check out the dream interpretation of the forums. There are several people around here who understand dreams well and can try to interpret them for you if you're not sure. There's also a general dream discussion for non-lucid dreams which include anything from just sharing your dreams (there is also an online dream journal function for this) to getting help with recurring dreams/nightmares.

If you're also here to learn about lucid dreaming then you're in the right place. This community is full of experienced lucid dreamers who will happily answer any questions you may have. You can either start a thread or pm some of the more experienced dreams, as well as the dream guide team designed to help people get lucid (their names appear in green and there are three starts beneath them). If you're just starting out then it is a must to start a dream journal in which you write down all your dreams, in order to increase recall so you don't forget any lucids. It also helps you pick out dream signs (recurring symbols) which may help you attain lucidity.

I also suggest you read up on various tutorials as well as the wiki in order to choose an induction method that works best for you. There are many ways of becoming lucid but the two main ones are DILD (dream induced lucid dream-realizing you're in a dream while you're dreaming) and WILD (wake induced lucid dream-going directly from a waking state to a dream). While there are many adaptations and more specific methods those two are pretty much the main categories.

      Good luck and happy dreaming!

      Welcome to Dreamviews!

Burke done a great job covering all the basics. I'm just gonna add a link to Beginners guide to lucid dreaming. Please check it out and once you pick an induction technique (DILD in general is easier to start with) and then read up on more details in DV Wiki, or visit the Academy, where you can join some classes, or just read some cool articles. Post your questions, have fun and Happy dreams

      Welcome to the forums mate!

Like one of the above posters said, there is a section on the forums dedicated to interpreting dreams.

Some advice in that respect: Some people think dreams are a representation of your future, and some people think they are a representation of your past. I think they are a representation of your past. To get the most accurate response to the meaning of your dreams, it's good to try to get your own opinion first - think about the dream and how it relates to past events in your life...

Since your dreams are creations of your own mind, your dreams can teach you a lot about yourself, and your personality. But it's important to know that some dreams may mean nothing at all. So, if you have a dream that you are murdering countless innocent people - it doesn't necessarily mean you are an evil person.

      ^ Mhm, heard 'dat.
