      Hello from Ukraine! Shinkarom speaking

      Hello!
I live in Ukraine, in the famous city of Kremenchuk.
I learned about lucid dreaming in a Cracked article.
First, let me list my flaws. Dream journalling is not for me, so are cycle adjustment and... I have forgot the other entries.
Second: I started doping something in this direction about a month ago, and I have some LDs, but they are all WBTBs and only for a few seconds, regardlesss of whether I am trying to stabilize or not. What generic tips can you give.
I think that the technique that will be more efficient for me will be auto-suggestion, but I have not enough information about it. Just to day I have read the thread about daydreaming induced LDs and want to konw more.
      That's all for the introduction.

      Welcome to the forum!

I would suggest starting here: http://www.dreamviews.com/f20/beginn...eaming-116237/

It will help start you in the right direction.

After that, try this - http://www.dreamviews.com/f49/all-da...gyoshi-113253/

It's long and detailed but should help.

I have also had a lot of luck with WBTB and WILD but I have a crazy sleep schedule. Find the technique that works for you and fits in with your sleep schedule.

If you have any questions feel free to send me a private message by clicking on my profile picture.

Welcome to the forum and happy dreaming!

      Welcome to dv!
Just follow those links that the lovely melanieb gave you and you should be set. ^^

A few pro-tips to help you start on your way~
      Journal as often as possible
You don't exactly have to write down everything, since I do admit, it does get cumbersome- however at least try to record them one way or another. Something I do is just use the simple voice recorder on my computer and talk about my dream. Trust me, it's nigh impossible to get started without journaling.
      Stick to your technique(s)
Find one or two techniques you like and stick with it. Technique jumping won't do you any good.
      Stay positive and persistent
Getting frustrated and giving up is never the way to succeed.

      Good luck LDing!

Trust me, it's possible. Dream recall is what needed, not dream journalling. Please don't try to sell me what I don't want. And I have the required minimum of remembering at least one dream per night.
Why it is not for me. First, I'm too shy to write such private things anywhere; second, I'm too clumsy a writer.
      (P. S. If you think I'm a scandalist, you haven't read the scandals I have accidentally started on incatena.org)

Why would you ask for help if you wont accept the basic's we tell you. I dont really care if you keep a journal or not but its up to you how easy you make it for yourself. You ask us to trust you yet you have barely any experience in the sector.

      I am very sorry.
"trust me" is an example of my other flaw, being prone to sarcasm.
I want to know how far will I go without any journalling. By the way, how far others have gone without journalling?

Well I know that you can practise dream recall by replaying the dream two or three times in your head in the morning.

Even that^ is not as effective as journaling, I'm sorry, but if you really want the full results then you'll have to put in a bit of work. That includes keeping a dream journal.

WILD can be a technique for you, it doesn't actually require journalling. Other than that, in other techniques, Dream journal is a major help.

The reason we urge writing down your dreams so much is that when you write down a memory it can make new connections in your brain that help solidify it. Remembering a dream is great, but the act of writing it down helps the brain realize that certain memories are important to you. This can aid in recall and your ability to lucid dream.

You need not purchase anything to dream journal nor share them here. We only urge you to write them down to aid with recall and attaining lucidity.

      Good luck with your efforts!

Today I had my first proper semi-lucid, using SilverBullet's Convincer techique. It was the longest experience I ever had; and, what's important, it was without any non-false awakening. Too bad I couldn't change the scene to New York. Another regret is that I thought that spinning must be done with eyes closed.
By the way, is there guys who tried to date Miss Universe? (I tried, unsuccessfully)
