      Introduction

      Hey dreamviews,

I recently joined this forum in order to further my lucid dreaming journey. I'm no stranger to lucid dreams; however, for motivational purposes, I'll consider the number of lucid dreams I've had as zero, and will start recording in m dream journal tonight.

My goals for this journey is to record in my journal every night - even when I don't feel like it -, explore my dream world, and have lots of adventure.

Hopefully I'll have my first lucid dream soon

Hey LucidProdigy, and welcome to Dreamviews! I like how you're starting from zero LD's, it's always fun to build up your count! It took me a while to get my 17 LD's, and that's on and off over almost 2 years. Also, dream journals will seem pointless sometimes, but you gotta fill them in every day. It can get tedious, but it's well worth it!

      Totally agree with USA ^^^

DJing really helps boost your recall, plus it's fun to reread your old dreams too! After all, there's no point in LDing if you can't remember them, right?

Best of luck, and happy dreaming! Welcome to Dream Views :3

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

      Thanks for the warm welcomes!

Last night, I had my first lucid experience, although it was only semi-lucid which also lacked control. Also, in my other dreams, I couldn't recall the conversations between me and other DCs, which gave my journal a very impersonal feel. Hopefully I'll improve as time goes along.

You can read about it in my DJ (Unfortunately I'm not able to post links yet)

      Welcome to Dreamviews!

Eventhough writing in DJ may seem tedious, especially if you have only fragments, or a seemingly unremarkable dream, it has it's benefits.

Most important role of DJing is to give our mind a clear message, that our dreams and recall are really important to us. Then our mind will do it's best to give us both. Also, reading through old dreams brings back interesting memories, can help you find patterns and even can help you identify, what actions from waking life manifest themself in your dreams.

If there is no good recall, writing down even just a few keywords or feelings may help to get it back. Happy dreams
