Hey erik welcome to DV, |

Hello! First heard of LD last week, and I am determined to experience it. I have since started a dream journal and reality checks. In the past, I have usually been able to remember one dream every night (they are often fairly vivid), but since I started my dream journal (three nights ago), I now remember about four dreams every night. My dreams feel very scripted, i.e. no matter how weird they get, I just go along and never question things. I am a very practical-minded person, and I have hardly ever practiced relaxation techniques or hypnosis, and would like for any feedback/help to get better at critically recognize that I am dreaming, or consciously enter a dream (induction methods). I feel that I have opened my mind to the possibility of LD. Anyone with similar experiences out there who could offer some help? Am I headed in the right direction? |

Damn dutchraptor you beat me to it! xD I would definitely take a look at the links he provided. You can also combine those techniques with the MILD method for maximum effect. |

Thanks, Dutchraptor (love the name and logo). Sounds like this is what creates the "suspicion" that is eluding me. |
|
Thanks! Will do. |

Try to increase your awareness while awake, and it should also happen when you are dreaming. Try to live in the current moment, be aware of your surroundings, and critical of the world around you. |

Thank you! All helpful advise. Question: when you have frequent LDs, do you experience really vivid dreams every night, even during nights when you do not become lucid? |
|
Whenever i have lucid dreams, they can sometimes be blurry and unvivid. They are not always extremely vivid and real life like, although many of them are. I definitely don't experience really vivid dreams a night. I might experience 1-2 vivid dreams a night than a bunch of blurry snippets of dreams. Sometimes all i would get is blurry snippets. Dream recall is somewhat random for me . |
