Hey guys, I had my first licid dream this morning at around about 8AM. It lasted for about 3 miniutes.. I have a few questions about future lucid dreaming. Okay first of all i first relised I was lucid after realising me and my freinds were speaking to my sub conscious.. So I started by making sure I was dreaming by RCing and rubbing my palms, I then Started to bounce and then starting to fly.. However I was getting very cold so I closed my eyes and hoped for a winters jacket however I then woke up and ruined it.. |

Don't give up! Learning how to lucid dream requires a lot of patience! You should start off by reading the home page of DV, then come into the forums and ask your questions! |

In my first lucid dream, I tried to fly but just fell back on the ground. A few dreams aftewards, I would try and make stuff and it would either ruin my lucidty or it wouldn't work quite right. first time i tried to teleport, it went all hazy and felt like i was about to wake up but it worked. and then the 2nd time i teleported in the same dream, it was smooth. More than smooth I might add. its just a matter of practice the same with anything really. the more you do it, the better you get. Try and remind yourself when you become lucid that it is a dream and you can do anything you want and you have to really believe it while saying it otherwise there would be no point, you'll get there in time. Patience my friend |

Yes it's true it gets easier each one you get (for most anyway) because you know what to expect and start to repeat a pattern, how did you get your first one, some people will then repeat what technique they did for the first one to do it again, and eventually you will get used every night to do the technique and have much longer-lasting lucid dreams! Don't give up, keep learning info and stuff, and no doubt you will lucid dream more often! |

Congrats on your first lucid dream |

Well done! Make sure you write your experience down soon after/preferably straight away; so you can keep a record of it and your dream progression. |
