      Hello

Hows it going? I hope to learn how to master lucid dreaming eventually by coming here. I already have had a few dozen lucid dreams, usually spontaneously. Learning lucid dreaming is obviously a great challenge however. Some of the methods posted here are very interesting, some more so than others. I think I'm finally starting to grasp some of the methodology behind lucid dreaming and why it is so subtly discovered. Although the benefits of this whole thing are beyond anything that can be accomplished while awake, which is a tad bit ironic if I say so myself.

While forgetting to live in order to dream is obviously not for the weak in character, I believe lucid dreaming is a tool that can be used for self improvement. I think that talking to people about this is an important step in order to prep the mind that it is time to finally take that step within the hall of mirrors of the mind.

      Wonderful speech

And welcome to the forum! Lucid dreaming truly is something special, and it doesn't take long to learn when you know how. For me the most important step for a beginner is to increase the awareness of ones dream to make them more vivid, easier to remember and easier to become aware of the situation. You do that by recalling your dreams, so keep a piece of paper and a pen by your bed. With regular practice you will start to be more aware of your dreams and how it feels to dream for you, and that is when you start to become lucid.

      Good luck! = )
