I have had lucid dreams on and off for most of my life, before I knew that there was a "practice" for it. For the most part, if I can jump and float around I know that I am in a dream and then can do what I please.
I don't work at the practice of LD. Because I like my drink and smoke, I don't dream much, or recall much every night. However, I have had to clean-up my act recently and my dreams are becoming more vivid and I can recall them and in some cases I am lucid in them and can control them.
So, I am looking forward to trying to enhance my LDs. The problems are, I assume, the same for most people:
Staying asleep, prolonging the duration of the LD.
Controlling the characters involved.
Initiating the LD, control, and maintaining it.
Etc.
I had a good one the other day: I was trying to convince a friend that we were in fact in a dream and could do what we want, but he insisted that we were at work and that I should stop screwing around (floating around the room in a chair), or we would get fired. LOL.
