New Member, Long time Lucid Dreamer

Just wanted to say hi!
I've been lucid dreaming for many years now. I've gone through periods when I'll lucid dream a lot and then other times when I barely dream at all. I feel like its a skill you have to practice to be able to do it regularly.
I've also had lots of other weird experiences. OBE's, False awakenings (inception style), sleep paralysis, astral projection etc.

I never really tried to lucid dream, it just happened naturally. But now im trying to learn more and hope to share some of my experiences on this forum.
Looking forward to trying some the TOTM as well!

Wow, a natural huh, that's awesome! I'm looking forward to reading some of your experiences. Oh and good catch! The TOTMs are really cool, I'm sure you'll have fun with them. Just curious, what do you usually do when you get lucid? How is your control?

To become lucid i don't do anything special, sometimes i just know im dreaming then i become lucid, other times ill realise something isnt quite right then i know im dreaming. I never do reality tests or anything, it just happens.

Once lucid I always always fly around. Flying for me feels really good, better than anything in waking life. It's like my whole body is made of energy vibrating at a high frequency. I can fly at really high speeds too and to anywhere I like, I just have to imagine; 'i want to fly over the rainforest, i want to fly to the beach' etc and it just appears

Some dreams I'm just levitating, like floating around. Some dreams im not sure were dreams but couldve been astral projection. Like floating out of my body and floating around my room. I was touching all my furniture and rubbing my face on the carpet and it felt so real I wasn't sure whether it was a dream or not. Another 'dream' I had, I floated around my house into my dad's room and said 'look im flying', my dad said 'yes we know son, well done', as if to say 'yes we expected that to happen, congratulations on figuring it out.' As if it was a gift or talent that I should have.

My control when im lucid varies, sometimes i have a lot, sometimes little control. Sometimes I want to do something but ill end up doing something else. But im trying to improve my control and ability to lucid dream now so hopefully ill get better at it.

i like the idea of having a DJ online. i've tried to keep DJ's before but then i can't be bothered with it after a while. hopefully i will keep at it with this one.

Gab , another Dream Guide runs a class that is very valuable to beginners on MILD/DILD, which is by far the best method to start with. DILD (Hukif and gab)

Finally as far as the DVA stuff goes, there is a class on introduction to lucid dreaming. This is a great place if you are just starting out and need a little personal help. Intro Class (OpheliaBlue, RareCola, CanisLucidus, Chimpertainment, Xanous)
