      A little unsure if I am lucid dreaming

      Hello I just found out about lucid dreaming about a month ago. Ever since I was young I have had dreams that I knew I was dreaming and had a certain amount of control over. These dreams have always been terrifying for me. The dream is always were I have fallen asleep everything is the exact same and there is something that is invisible attacking me. Even though I know it cannot hurt me it still scares me. Could someone be able to confirm if this is in fact lucid dreaming or point me in the direction of what it is. Thank you!

      Yes, any dream in which you are aware that you're dreaming is a lucid. It's possible for a lucid dream to be a nightmare; I know from experience that things in dreams (regardless of whether it's real or not) can be very unpleasant at times. Even if you're scared though, it's best to take control and try to change the situation.

      if you realized it was a dream, then you were lucid check out The Beginner's Guide To Lucid Dreaming for some basic info Oh, and some links might not work for now, since some parts of the site have been disabled temporarily.
