Welcome, xsabertoothx! Great to have you here!
First of all, i know there are supplements who make you recall your dreams. I for one ordered Galantamind + Vitamin b6.
Although I have read a good bit about Galantamine, I haven't tried it personally. With that one you'll want to really do your homework before diving in, as I understand that taking it at the wrong time or in the wrong dosages could lead to some unpleasant dreaming and/or gastrointestinal experiences.
Vitamin B6 I have used and for me it leads to a substantial jump in recall and dream vividness. I'd recommend keeping its use occasional, though, to avoid building up a tolerance. The best approach is to keep really good records, start small, and be very scientific with any sort of supplementation. (I still use B6 twice per week, in a 100 mg dose right before bed.)
Now if im feeling lucid in my dream, i kinda freak out. and i wake up, dripped in sweat. Can this be helped? If that answer is yes, does any of you have any tips?
Achieving lucidity can be extremely exciting, so the freaking out is understandable! There are still many instances for me where I become lucid and wake right up if I'm a little too excited or a little too taken aback. (Or sometimes no apparent reason!)
The first thing that helps is simply having more practice at becoming lucid. But something you could try immediately is to visualize yourself becoming lucid. If you picture a recent dream scene where you became lucid and freaked, imagine your jump to lucidity as a calm realization. Visualize yourself calmly looking around, rubbing your hands together, and feeling relaxed as you take in the dream scene. Think of this as practice for that feeling of quiet, joyful confidence that you want to have when you become lucid.
As for waking up drenched in sweat, this has only happened to me one time. In this instance, I ate 4 tablespoons of peanut butter right before going to bed. 2 tablespoons of PB before bed had given me some cool, kinda trippy dreams, but 4 tablespoons had me sweating and going through all of these weird dreams. So if you are eating anything heavy before bed, it could be something to look at, but other than that nothing specific comes to mind for the sweating thing.
