Everyone is different, It took me two months just to get to two lucid dreams. Some people can pick up skills right away and other people have to work at it. It is normal, just keep practicing and you will get one.

      Welcome chiefin!

The rate of your progress has nothing to do with time, it has to do with will and understanding.
We can give you the will, only you can get the understanding, because only you can understand yourself.

However we can share our opinion, but only your experience is the true knowledge.

So get inspired here (Dreamviews), get experience out there (dreams).

Enjoy your stay and ask if you need to.

      Welcome!

It's perfectly normal! On average, it takes about a month or two for people to achieve their first lucid dream. Of course, this depends on the person. It can take you less time or more time. Just keep practicing! What technique are you using?? If you have any questions, feel free to message me!

      P.S. I like Kid Cudi

I look at is as stepping stones, and personally I put WILD's at the top. I feel DILD better prepares you to do a WILD, but you know what everyone is different. Personally I need to build my awareness more before I can pull off a WILD.

      Welcome to DV and GL.

WILDing is considered one of the hardest techniques for most people, especially beginner's. Everyone is different though and it might come easy to you! Just make sure you understand everything that your doing. A lot of people make easy mistakes when WILDing. Make sure you are WILDing 4-7 hours after falling asleep, not before you fall asleep. Also do not focus on your physically body, focus on the dream you are about to go in. The trick is to just fall asleep like you would normally, but keep your mind aware. Like I said, it can take some time but keep at it! You will get it eventually

Ok, i think that is my main problem. When i am WILDing i am focusing on my current situation and how my body is feeling rather than focusing on the dream i want to go to and visualizing it.

Well, Chiefin, It is entirely possible for you to succeed in WILD as it comes much more naturally to some than to others. But here, I have a very successful guide, with some great advice on the technique.

      Here:WILD (Sageous)

Sageous is great at what he does, and I strongly urge you to check out his advice, it'll help you greatly in your next WILD attempt!
