      Question Ready to rock!

      Hey guys,

I am rockonguy. I like to listen/make music and paint.

I am new to all the LD stuff but it seems very appealing to me. My LD count is zero because I have only tried WILDing once, and I got to the hypnagogic (is that right?) state without knowing what to do next, resulting in nothing but some sort of half-sleep state where my legs were really tired. I have been inquiring a lot of information, but I am having trouble getting it all well organized.

I have the dream journal, most of the know-how (I guess) and I am willing to try another WILD soon.

For my organizing info thingy, can some of you maybe try to make/give me a summary of stuff that could help, or a way to WILD/DEILD/etc.?

Also, what's the stuff with waking up at night? I never tried that, but I also never wake up automatically...

And last, what's the easiest way to get into the habit of recalling dreams when waking up? I always forget to... Just like my reality checks, although that is becoming more and more natural...

      Welcome to DV!

Yeah that's hypnagogic imagery, but you shouldn't try WILD'ing when you first go to bed, try it during a nap or after 4½-6 hours of sleep and you'll have an easier time.

Check this link out: http://www.dreamviews.com/f20/beginn...eaming-124786/ it's a great guide.

Waking up at night, either you're talking about just setting an alarm to improve your recall, or you're talking about WBTB (Wake Back To Bed) which is when you wake up a few hours into sleep, stay up for a certain amount of time and then go back to bed with intentions. That'll increase your chances of achieving lucidity drasticly.

You have to force yourself to start writing them down. All details you can. Some people need a carrot, others need a whip. You have to find your own way of staying motivated

      Thanks man!
I tried the dream journal for the first time yesterday, and was able to recall almost all details in two dreams.
So yeah, I guess I am getting better.
