      Smile HI there. :D

Hi everyone . , Im Reniel Joshua , from Phillippines , 14 yrs of age , Im aspiring to be a great Lucid Dreamer, and i want to seek for everyone's help , I've already have 2 LDs and many fail attemps -.- , here's the 2 lucid dreams :

1.I was walking in the park with my classmates and suddenly became lucid, I was so excited that i didn't did reality checks, The first thing I did was , summon a dream character, I held my head and close my eyes, and think that a DC will appear in front of me, and it was a success, after that, I flew through the sky , It was a great feeling though, but after 3 or 4 seconds, I suddenly woke up -.- .

      2. I was walking in a road in a normal day, I suddenly became lucid and didn't do the reality checks again -.- , I shoot a Kamekameha in the sky and I woke up ,

after this two lucid dreams, I never have LDs again, and I just stop because of it , but now, Im about to start again, and need the help of everyone ,
Im using the DILD technique last time, and decided to start again with the WILD technique.

      I have a few questions:

      1.Is WILD recommended for beginners?

2.What is a Dream Guide? a representation of ourselves or an entity? What do they look like ?

      3.Is shared dreaming true ?

That's all and I'll be really glad to have an answer, Thanks Everyone and nice meeting you all ,..(sorry for my english) ^_^

      1. I wouldn't say that I wouldn't recommend it, but it's more difficult for beginners but that applies to everything I guess.
      2. It is an inner voice that you can't control, they can look like anything but I just think that you are unconciously speaking with yourself like you normally would in regular dreams. People have different opinions about this though.
      3. Shared dreaming isn't true.

Good luck with your dreaming experiences!

      Hey ragehart, welcome to Dreamviews!
Before I answer your questions just gonna say that I recommend joining one of the lucid dreaming classes here on Dreamviews which can be found on the Dreamviews academy board. As for your questions:

      1) Well... Your going to get a mixed response here, personally I would say that once you have had at least one lucid dream via DILD then it's ok to give WILD a shot. But just to let you know it's a tough one and that's why some people don't recommend it for beginners.
      2) People have mixed ideas of what a dream guide is, it can be what you want it to be. In a literal sense it can just be a DC that guides you in the dreamworld. Some people decide to take it in spiritual terms, while others say it's a representation of you. The idea is a mixed one, there are some people that might even think it's nonsense.
      3) that's a really large grey area... Somebody that tells you shared dreaming is true, could be lying or they could not be. It's just one of those things. However personally I believe shared dreaming is possible, yet I have not experienced it myself. The trouble is that there are two ways shared dreaming could be possible, metaphysical and technological. Well metaphysical we can never prove, not saying its not possible. And technology capable of linking minds... Probably not going to be around in our lifetime, but then again it might so that's why I label this subject as a grey area.
Anyways hope you have a great time here on Dreamviews!

      Welcome to DV!

1: It depends on you as a person. Can you relax and stay calm when you feel weird sensations and/or hear/see things around you? Try meditating to see how good you are at staying conscious whilst being calm, WILD can be tricky but no one says you can't try it out if you're new.

2: A Dream Guide is said to be your subconscious incarnate. A manifestation if you will. What it/he/she looks like is not something I can answer, they tend to look differently and might not even be human. I believe a DG is just another DC made up by the mind, but you neverk now.

3: You never know I personally don't believe in it because there's no scientific fact to back it up and it's kinda hard to prove. You'll have to try to find out for yourself.

If you've got more questions, don't hesitate to ask!
