I don know exactly how you feel. I had majority of my LDs super short. Granted, I used to get excited
So, are you doing any stabilization? Do you practice any form of daytime awareness? Are they DILDs or WILDs?
Stabilizing involves geting yourself integrated with your dream. Touching, feeling, smelling, tasting anything to help you become part of the dream, instead of just a spectator.
And having better daytime awareness helps you to stay aware in your dreams and not get lost in it. It's just too easy to forget that you are dreaming.
