Welcome to DV! I used to always watch Netflix before going to sleep also. What I usually do now is I may watch a single episode of something, then shut it off and play some soft relaxing music. For some reason I really like going to sleep to psy trance and I feel it enhances my dreams, but of course, that is just my experience. As long as you keep at it you will most definitely become lucid soon. The toughest part is of course getting that first lucid dream, and getting used to dreaming in general.
