I haven't been able to use mirror/door portals yet, but it is on my to-do list. Do you often use portals like that?

I do, but I admit it's easy for me because mirrors seem to regularly find their way into my lucids. That said, I've had similar luck transitioning through walls, windows and floors. The next time you're lucid, just phase through the next whatever "barrier" you come across. Why not, it ain't real, so you get to do what you want! If it's too solid, find a way to bust though it anyway. It's from your subC, it ain't better or stronger than you.
