Hey all I'm Pinkey. I am new here and Im stoked that there is a place for people with all the same intentions to lucid dream and so on! Anyways, I had a question. When I took a nap, I entered my dream, and I was wearing the same exact thing that I went to bed in. Is there any connection or is it just a coincidence? This has happened a few times. Thanks for any responses |

Hello and welcome. May I ask what technique you use? If its WILD, sometimes a dream isn't actually formed when you begin to enter and, so, the subconscious is forced to hastily create a starting point. Usually, it uses the very room your in, simply because its the most recent location in your memory. The clothes are simply part of the "borrowed blueprint". |

Unfortunatley, it was just a regular dream. I have a dream journal, and I try soo hard to have a lucid dream. I just simpily cant have a lucid dream. I wanna know whats the best technique for beginners but thats probably for a different thread. Thank you guys for the replies I really appreciate it |

Many would say DILD is the best to start with, but to be honest its best to experiment with all of them and see what works. I personally had no luck with DILD, but have had great success with WILD, so yeah, experiment. And yes, you can have a lucid dream, never doubt that. |

I don't think I even notice what I'm wearing in dreams most of the time. It would be interesting to make a habit of checking upon becoming Lucid. |

Cool Ill start trying that. Thanks! And yeah its kinda odd since I only sleep in boxers im only in boxers in my dreams. Ive gotten in trouble by different people in my dreams for the lack of clothing lol |

That reminds me. I remember Luminous, I'm pretty sure it was, that said she never liked to sleep naked because it caused her to end up being naked in her dreams. |
