Quick question about multiple dream recollection.

As a novice lucid dreamer I've kept up with recording my dreams one way or another for quite some time now, but there is still something that is often getting in my way. This occurs after waking up from 3 - 5 independent dreams that I attempt to remember and to record. As one might suspect, I can recall the most recent dream much easier than the rest, however this is when the problem tends to arise. If I try to recall the first (or one of the first), my mind gets lost in it and I end up forgetting the ones after! It also seems like I'm on a time-limit of sorts after I wake up because the more I perceive waking reality the less room I seem to have to keep my multiple dreams. Some mornings it seems I have to pick which ones to right down because my mind only seems capable of the keeping data from 2 full-length (or highly detailed) dreams long enough for recording.

I've heard of "keywords" that help you recall the whole dream later on, however these never fulfill all the details I initially wake up with. Any help in this subject would be greatly appreciated, for I wish to one day be able to recall every dream I'm having to of course - better my lucid experiences.
How can you help? <the question

      Thanks in advance!
      Listener.

      Hi there

For me, as soon as I have a second dream, I forget the first. I trained myself to wake after each dream to avoid this, so I can write down the dream and then have another - I even read it back in the morning with no memory of the first few dreams, but once I read them over I start to remember.

More recently my recall has improved, and after a dream, I'll remember random things, which I believe are other dreams but I just remember weird things like colours / a person who was in it, etc. It's very strange.

I find bullet points and keywords to get out the essential memories, then after doing that I go back over and fill in the details, this way if I've forgotten bits the keywords help me remember.

Hope this helps, it gets better the longer you do it!

They take me deeper and deeper

Record down any fragments you have, no matter how short it is. Try not to be selective in your dream recalling if you want to remember as many dreams as possible, even if what's left of certain dreams is barely worth mentioning.
