      Hello(again) + a question.

      Hello guys -again-!
I used to access this site oftenly, and always found Lucid Dream to be a really interesting subject. I like all this "free your imagination in a all-yours world" stuff, and this is a nice tool to learn about yourself, and even to exercise your creativity... Anyways I'll try to stick with the idea and engage more on things like Dream Journal.

I had some really fast Lucid Dreams some months ago, but couldn't make it last much longer after realizing it was a dream... and it comes to my question:

Everytime i got lucid in a dream, at the moment I said "I'm dreaming" the dream would start to fade, and I would start to "feel" the bed, and then wake up... Is this a common problem some people face when starting to get lucid in dreams?

Hey there! Yes, this is a very common problem that a lot of people encounter especially in the beginning. It may be that you are catching the dream, ie. becoming lucid just at the end of your REM sleep cycle when we usually wake up.

It may be possible to prolong the dream with the usual stabilization techniques, like rubbing hands, touching objects, etc. If the dream still slips away quickly, you can remain still in your bed and try to go back in the dream with DEILD. Here's more on stabilization and DEILD:
