      Hey, I'm new Here :)

      Hey everyone,

I'm new here, I'm 21, and I'm from London, UK. I lead a very busy lifestyle, working all day, then often having so many things to do in the evening until late, so this is going to be something that I'm going to give myself like half hour before bed every night. I'll come on here, read the tutorials, write my dream journal and stuff et cetera.

I've had a few lucid dreams in my life, mostly very short lived, but maybe one or two intense and longer ones. I find them absolutely fascinating, and the idea of having more of them which last for a long time, and with control, well it's an amazing idea! But just how far can this go? I mean, are there people here who have a lot of control consistently? This is going to sound a bit stupid, but I really want to visit Pandora, the world in the movie Avatar! Surely that could be created in a dream? But would it be possible to actually attain that amount of control to experience such a thing?

Lastly, I definitely want to use supplements. Even if they don't 100% work, the idea of it will really help and give me confidence, especially as I'm not going to be able to give this quite as much time as I would like yet. I've read the supplements section and it's awesome, but I would just like some quick advice on what to start off with, and where on earth do I buy the supplements/herbs from?

I'm so happy I've found this community, I really hope I can improve my lucid dreaming, and I'm looking forward to contributing to the forum.

      Heya

Some people here say they don't have any dreams that aren't lucid, and it's possible to have godlike levels of control (more control isn't necessarily better or more rewarding, though). Going to Pandora is very possible, and it would be possible for it to look better and realer than Avatar in IMAX 3D, too

I haven't used supplements and I'm of the opinion that you probably shouldn't use them when you're beginning. I'm not that experienced at lucid dreaming, but this applies everywhere: artificial aids can easily become a crutch for a beginner and you don't want that. It's better to build a proper, natural foundation yourself and then start using aids to reach new heights.

      Hey Xagan! Welcome!

But just how far can this go? I mean, are there people here who have a lot of control consistently? There's almost no limit to what you can do in lds and with some practice you can certainly visit this world or any other world/place you want to.

For starters, I would suggest getting acquainted with the ld induction techniques, selecting a few and sticking to them for some time to see how that works. Once you get the lds, you are ready to practice dream control and perform different tasks in dreams. You can also try to incubate a non-lucid dream with this world and train yourself to become lucid once in it. Pretty exciting stuff!!!

Here are the main induction techs:

Thank you so much for your replies, they're much appreciated and have given me a lot insight of inspiration! Thanks for the links and advice also, I'll make sure I follow them and I'll get going with it all.

Just quickly, I've tried numerous times and on different computers to log into chat, but I can't, I always get the following message:

I've tried so many things but haven't had any luck, I was just wondering if anyone could help me out
