new dreamer, tips, and favorite induction techniques.

a new face in the world of lucid dreaming
Hello, everyone. My name is Paris Hollyhawk. I discovered lucid dreaming last December. I did everything except the dream journal, which is probably why I have had only two. I forget that Im dreaming in five seconds. Anyhow... If any of you have some beginner tips I would really appreciate that. Thanks for checking out my post and have a great day. P.S. what is your favorite induction technique? must i really do the dream journaling ?

Hey, Welcome to DV I guess, I'm new also! One of the Dream guides or Moderators will probably link you to a bunch of threads, including induction techniques (my fav is WILD) Otherwise check out the intro class, that pretty much covers the basics! (Dream journals are easy to keep up, as you can log dreams here on the forum.)
      ciao!

Welcome Paris, nice to meet you .
You should start a dream journal to work your dream recall because what it's the point of having a lucid dream if you can't remember it?

My favorite induction technique is probably MILD but I also use SSILD a lot. I suggest that you give at least the most popular techniques a try and see what works for you. Also it's a good idea to work on dream stabilization and dream control.
      Good luck dreaming

      Welcome to Dream Views, Paris!

      Welcome
      Induction Methods and Techniques

Hmm, my favourite technique? I would probably have to say DILD. I also like SSILD too. Anyway, see you around the forums!
